There is a long story behind this blog, and because of it, my purpose here is twofold. First, it is a log of my adventures and exploits teaching 12 New Hampshire college students in Limerick, Ireland for a semester. And secondly, it is a place to begin drafting my new ‘geek culture’ book on marching band. My goal is to write 101 things I learned about life–truthfully and humorously–from marching band in 101 days. Hopefully, this project will result in a coffee table book available in bookstores near you soon.
So, enjoy your reading and please be patient. It may be quite an experiment!
